Week one of my $40 challenge starts tomorrow. It is the PERFECT week for it to start, because it's a MEGA at Fry's this week... aka a couponers DREAM to stock up! Here is my plan, and I hope it will work and I can stick to it. I will report back tomorrow with a picture, and my receipt.
My Shopping List:
- 2 Hefty storage bags - FREE after Target coupon and Manufacturer coupon stack
- 2 Nature Sweet Cherry tomatoes - 50 cents each after a coupon I have.
- 2 shredded cheese - $1 each after target coupon
- 5 twelve packs of Dr Pepper - $6 total after sale and Food City coupon [can't beat that price!]
- 3 purex detergents - $1.39 each after coupons
- 1 canister of country time lemonade - free after ecoupon I have loaded to my card
- 9 containers of Chef Boyardee 36 cents each after coupons
- 6 banquet frozen dinners - 19 cents each after coupons
- 1 gallon of milk - 53 cents after Fry's ecoupon from facebook this morning.

This should come out to right around $18 before tax.
So, that will be my first trip for the week and we will go from there. I know there are some good produce and meat prices elsewhere, so I am hoping that With the rest of my budget I can have some left for milk, etc and to grab some meat :)

What this is all about...
Many of you know I have been couponing religiously for about a year, and I have decided that I am good enough at it and have a decent enough stockpile to start giving myself a $40 a weekly budget for my family of 3.

- All hygiene items [body wash, shampoo/conditioner, pads/tampons, toothpaste, toothbrushes, hair care items, razors, shaving cream, etc.]
- Baby items [this includes diapers and wipes]
- All household items [this includes cleaning items, dish soap, laundry detergent, etc.]
